Will Alaska repeal ranked-choice voting in 2026? (Ballot Measure 2)
Ballot Measure 2, on the November 3 general-election ballot, would repeal ranked-choice voting and the top-four open primary, reinstate closed party primaries, and repeal the 2020 campaign-disclosure rules.
| Outcome | Probability |
|---|---|
| Yes | 50.0% |
| No | 50.0% |
Resolution
Resolves YES if Ballot Measure 2 receives more YES votes than NO votes in the November 3, 2026 general election, per the Alaska Division of Elections' certified results. A tie resolves NO. If the measure is removed from the ballot or voided by a court before the vote is certified, the market voids.
